Louis-Philippe Gingras is a genuine musician. After studying jazz at University, he returns to his native Abitibi and starts writing songs. There begins the real fun. Living now in Petite-Patrie in Montreal, he devoted his life to song writing and signing for more than five years.
Trained guitarist and creator of earworms, Gingras sharpens his pencils from one song to the next with tremendous boldness and accuracy. Singled out at Petite-Vallée Song Festival (six awards), at SOCAN (Songwriting Prize 2014 and at GAMIQ 2015 (Bets Roots Album of the Year) for his album Traverser l'parc (Simone Records, 2013), Louis-Philippe Gingras and his band now travel up the cities of Quebec and beyond.
